Target: Secondary setting

1.

This math forum is an online resource that can hep you improve math, teaching and communication since 1992. This math forum offers integrated programs that are based on their award winning problems. The program has three main components: Problems of the week, problem solving and communication and professional development. In this forum you need to know the basic math of a secondary student and it will help student enhance their critical thinking and their learning skills for the future and for college. I would recommend this website, but it could have better organization and aim also for younger audiences because we are living in a very competitive world.

2.

Math Planet is a math community free to use and no registration needed. its perfect for students who are in high school or preparing for college, offers Pre-algebra, Algebra 1, Algebra 2 and Geometry. it also offers SAT and ACT practice and preparation tips. There is also a forum to ask question or things that don't appear in the program. I would recommend this website because its a helpful community for people who struggle with math and don't have the time or money for tutors.

3. Art of Problem Solving

Art of problem Solving includes math levels from third grade to eleventh grade. This website also includes a math forum, lots of videos, classes and competition information. I really like that it includes videos because videos are always really helpful for me. It's video category is very diverse from Pre-Algebra to Counting and Probability to AMC. I would recommend this website to anyone who struggles with learning math the typical way and need to see someone do it. Their videos are very helpful, but their website can be more user friendly.

4.

Patrick is a tutor that offer videos of linear algebra, statistics and trigonometry. This website also offer videos of arithmetic. There more than one video per topic, it covers almost every chapter of the topics. He offers very good explanation of every topic and makes it easy for the viewer. I would recommend this website because the videos are very diverse in every category and has more than 20 videos per topic.

5.

It has math programs that have elementary school math programs, middle school math programs and high school math programs. It's high school program Pre-Calculus, Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry and Trigonometry. it also includes SAT, ACT and other college placement exams. Their purpose is to give strength to students were they have identified their math weaknesses. It doesn't offer video, but it offers really detailed information of the problem of each category. The website could offer more examples of each category.
